Question

When are RSVP's due?

Answer

We will need all RSVP's to be completed by March 31st, 2025. This allows us time to finalize details and ensure everyone has a great time! We will not be able to accept any RSVP's after this date. Formal Invitations have been sent! If you received a Save the Date but did not receive your formal invitation in the mail, please reach out to us so we can send an extra to you!

Question

Are young children invited?

Answer

While we love children, especially yours, this is a child-free celebration. Only the names on the invitation are who we are inviting. Thank you for understanding and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation does not say you have a "plus one", you do not. Please check with the Heather or Tristan if you are unsure or would like to bring a plus one, not indicated on your invitation. While we would love for everyone to be able to bring a friend to celebrate with us, we have only planned for enough chairs and food for the individuals listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding this detail!

Question

Where should we stay? Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We have not acquired a hotel block at this time. There are MANY options for lodging in the area. While Harrisonburg has a great selection of hotels, there are options at Massanutten Resort, Air BNB's in Bridgewater, Keezletown, Penn Laird, McGaheysville, Singers Glen, and Broadway, and local cottages in the same surrounding areas. Some of these areas are a little further than others from the venue, however, all are beautiful and have their own charm. If you would like to know more about the area or have questions, please reach out to Heather using the number on the back of the invitation! We would love to help. We hope you have a great time visiting the area we have enjoyed living in together over the last few years and now call home as a family!

Question

Where is the wedding being held? How do I get there?

Answer

The wedding's location will be Bluestone Vineyard, located in Bridgewater, Va. The address is 4828 Spring Creek Rd, Bridgewater, VA 22812. It is important to note that you will follow the paved driveway all the way to the top of the hill.

Question

If it's raining, will you still have the wedding outside?

Answer

If it is raining, the ceremony will be held inside.

Question

What is the expected attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire! The ceremony will be outside in the grass so keep that in mind when selecting shoes! Please reserve white for the bride.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Parking will be located starting in the upper parking lot closest to the Meeting Hall and Tasting Room. Cars may park in any parking spot open from the entrance by the road to the top of the hill, nearest the Meeting Hall and Tasting Room. Guests will walk from their parking area to a grassy ceremony area to the right of the Meeting Hall, past the owners home on the left.

Question

What time will the ceremony start?

Answer

Guests can arrive starting at 3:30pm and the ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. We ask that all guests arrive between 3:30pm and 4:00pm.

Question

Where do we go when we arrive?

Answer

If you have cards or gifts you may enter the Meeting Hall through the doors located at the top of the building and place the item(s) on the designated table right inside. All guests will need to walk down the paved road to the right of the Meeting Hall and past the owners home on the left. Immediately following the home there is a grassy site with a tree where the ceremony will be set up. Please walk through the grass and find a seat. Please do not sit in the seats labeled as "Reserved" unless Heather or Tristan have asked you to do so.

Question

What should we expect for the evening?

Answer

A ceremony program will be available on the day of the wedding at the ceremony site. We expect the ceremony to take approximately 30 minutes. Immediately following the ceremony, guests can walk back to the Meeting Hall for cocktail hour inside and on the patio. Immediate family members (parents and grandparents) and the wedding party will take a few pictures at the ceremony site. Following cocktail hour, dinner will be served at the reception. The reception will also include: dancing, a photo booth, cupcakes, and group pictures. The reception will end at 9:00pm following the last dance.

Question

What do I do if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Please indicate this when you RSVP. Please let us know what specific food allergies you have so we can ensure your food is allergen free.

Question

Will alcochol be served?

Answer

We will be serving wine only. We will be purchasing a set amount of alcohol. Please indicate on your formal invitation if you would like to enjoy wine at the wedding so we can plan to purchase enough for all! We appreciate your help!

Question

Why are there not other gifts listed on your registry?

Answer

We have a lot of the "stuff" you need in a home, so we prefer for you to contribute to our "family-moon" and help us make lasting memories with each other. If you would prefer to purchase an item, you are welcome to do so. We do not expect gifts, but welcome your support if you choose.
