We’re Getting Married!

We originally met at Bennethums (a local restaurant). We were both dating other people, but became friends. Covid struck shutting everything down for awhile, but we ran into each other again about 6 months later, now both single, and it didn't take us long to figure out that we wanted to spend all of our time together. We are best friends, have so much in common, and do everything together. From snowmobiling, riding our Harley, taking the boats out, side-by-side riding, to grocery shopping, cooking, or cleaning. We feel blessed everyday to have each other and cannot wait until our special day.

Brad made weekend plans to go to Grand Marais in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (a place he knows well as he has been going there his whole life). He told me he wanted to take me to a really cool place but we would be going down some tight trails. There was some snow on the ground and it was a little muddy. It felt like we went down this trail forever, and all I could think of was that I hope we didn't get stuck. We ended up at the ‘Cabin in the Sky’ also known as the Highpoint. This little privately owned cabin sits about 200’-300’ above the tree line. You can see forever. It is so beautiful and a very special place to Brad and his family. Shortly after we got there I walked back around to the truck to get my phone so I could take some pictures. When I came back around to the front porch, that overlooked the beautiful view), Brad was down below on the ground looking up at me standing on the porch. He reached for both of my hands and after I fiddled forever trying to get my phone in my back pocket lol, he asked me to spend forever with him.
