Come Celebrate With Us!

In February of 2017, our mutual friend Tanay decided to play match-maker and introduced us on the pretense of showing Sid around New York. After some planning and delays, Sid finally arrived in NY in April. We met for brunch, where we ended up talking for hours, followed by a walk in Central Park, and finally dinner and dance at a Gala. We connected so well over that weekend that there was no looking back!

Sid's parents planned a visit to the US in September 2018, and Sid and I planned to meet them in NY. Since we were going to NY for the first time after we met, Sid decided to recreate our first date. We had brunch at the same cafe, and then went to the lake at Central Park where Sid went down on one knee and popped the question! I said YES obviously (after I got over the shock), and turned around to find our friends taking photographs and ready with a bottle of champagne :)
