We adore our family and friend's children. However, this will be an adult only event with the exception of wedding party members. Thank you for your understanding!

Event Parking

Answer

Evergreen Lake House is a public space. Therefore, parking is limited. We recommend arriving early to secure a parking spot and riding with other guests. A shuttle will be provided from the Comfort Suites Hotel to help accommodate our guests. Guests who do not stay at the hotel will also have the option to use the shuttle. Please notify us if this applies to you.

Flights

Flying into Denver International Airport (DIA) offers the flight options into the nearby area. DIA is approximately 1 hour from Evergreen. Other nearby areas such as Denver or Golden will be closer to the airport if you choose to stay there.

Transportation

Answer

Car rental is highly recommended for travel to Evergreen. It is challenging to rely on Lyfts/Ubers in this area. Plus, with your own car you can explore the wonderful nearby mountain towns in your free time! We recommend buddying up with other friends or couples to save on this expense.

Plan for all types of weather! Specifically, in Evergreen it is typically chilly in the AM & PM even in the summer months. The temperature typically ranges from 45-75 in June. Colorado weather can change throughout the day and we recommend bringing jackets or light layers.

Evergreen, CO is located at 7200 ft of elevation. We encourage all guests to ensure adequate hydration, rest, monitored alcohol consumption, and use of SPF to help avoid or minimize the effects of the high altitude.

Answer

Events before & after the wedding are entirely optional. Various activities have been planned throughout the weekend to offer additional opportunities for visiting with the couple outside of the wedding. Please join in on whatever interests you or accommodates your travels! There is no pressure to attend all activities.
