We're so excited to celebrate with you!

I was working at Back Nine Tavern when I met Dan. He started coming in with some guys that I knew particulary Dino. The two of them were inseparable it seemed. But as time went on and I listened to their lame jokes, sarcastic remarks, and them being pain in the asses in general they grew on me. One night I was done with my shift early and they were there and asked if i wanted to go out with them. I said sure, but you have to pick me up from B9 thinking this would deter them. Nope, a half hour later after they left to go home to change they came back and we went out. That night Dan and I couldn't stop talking from how much we disliked online dating to how similar our backgrounds/family life was. It started with a simple knock and ended up with him texting me a week later (true guy fashion play hard to get) to go to dinner. We had a 3 hour dinner it seemed like which come to find out is a Mauriello trait, but we had so much fun and didn't want the night to end. As the months went on, we realized it was forever for us and I moved into his house in less than a year. Covid hit and it really showed us that both of us being at home we could do this and made us even stronger. As we came upon our one year anniversary, I started getting excited about the fact a proposal should be coming! We had some ups and downs along the way though and certain loved ones that passed away. But on March 19th, 2021 we were at home on a friday night cooking dinner with the music up and wine flowing. Just a quiet night at home that we usually have and after dinner we slow danced to one of our favorite songs. As he picked up the dog to dance with us and then put her down he got on one knee and proposed. I may have knew it was coming, but no idea he was going to do it that night! There were tears, a swear word maybe and so much love. Cannot wait for this day and to have you all by our side celebrating!
