We're Getting Married!

Chad and Trish met on the beach in Orange County in August 2013. Trish drove up from San Diego to see her best friend from college Kristen who was visiting her boyfriend Ryan. Fortunately for Trish, Ryan's friend from high school Chad came and met them at the beach that day. Chad and Trish both left that day feeling some sparks, however they were living in different cities so they did not pursue it. It would be another 6 months before Chad and Trish were able to connect again. Chad finally got Trish's number and asked her to go out on a date soon after! They then spent the next year living in two different cities visiting each other every weekend. Trish decided to move to Newport Beach in 2015 so she could live closer to Chad. Fast forward another 3 years and the two decided to move back to San Diego where Trish grew up!!

Trish is the most difficult person to surprise! Chad planned a fake birthday party picnic in La Jolla for his nephew Aiden. Trish was all on board and even packed up snacks and beer to take with them. They were about to leave and Chad looked through the cooler and said “we don’t need these glass beer bottles let’s take them out.” So they started taking them out and a beer bottle slipped through Chad’s fingers and shattered /exploded all over him and the floor. His finger was bleeding and he was all wet. They were so close to leaving but now Trish is blow drying Chad’s shirt and shorts all stained with beer. His shorts were a lost cause so Chad had to change his shoes and shorts. Trish has never seen him call an audible on his outfit so fast! Once they got to the beach they came upon a picnic with flowers and photos of them and Trish instantly knew what was happening. Chad was so calm and collected and recounted their relationship and all of the amazing memories they have made over the last 5 years. After Chad proposed the crowd of people around the beach cheered. Chad coordinated both of their families to be waiting for them at a restaurant for lunch to celebrate. The next day Trish thought they were going to get brunch with a few friends but was surprised to see all of their closest friends waiting for them at brunch! It was a beautiful weekend!
