Flight
Ubers are generally reliable from the airport, and the drive from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to the preferred hotels takes approximately 15–20 minutes. For those coming from the UK, there are several direct flights on British Airways via American Airlines from LHR to CLT.
Travel Note
Uber and other ride-share services are generally reliable in Charlotte, and for guests staying within our hotel blocks or close by, rental cars are likely not necessary. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the ceremony on September 19 at preferred hotels and guests staying elsewhere are welcome to use the shuttle service. There will be no transportation provided to the Welcome Reception, which is at the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel and a 2-minute walk from the Courtyard Charlotte City Center.
