T & R met while Trisha was a student in physician assistant school and Ryne was a cadet in the police academy. Ryne was able to show Trisha where he grew up, being south Florida born and raised, and they started their lives together in Fort Lauderdale. The special addition Bo joined the family in July 2020, and most recently Rip in January 2024. How lucky were they that their two paths crossed and have now merged into a beautiful life together.

Kentucky holds a very special place in Ryne's heart (and left arm). It was the week of Thanksgiving that Trisha was able to join Ryne for his yearly deer hunting trip, and get to explore the place that helped shape the man she loved. After a morning of deer hunting, T and R with Bo close by, headed to the park for a walk. At the end of a leaf-covered path with sun-streaks peaking through the twig bare branches, Ryne got down on one knee to ask Trisha to spend the rest of their lives together. A quiet Airbnb in downtown Frankfort was waiting with a dinner reservation and champagne toast courtesy of the sisters from afar. The night was topped off by a surprise engagement photoshoot with Ryne's cousin Zach. Kentucky now holds a special place in both hearts.
