In May 2019, Rajat took a leap by sliding into Trisha's DMs on Twitter on the last weekend of the semester. That Saturday night, they ventured out with their friends to 6th Street in Austin, TX. Outside the Aquarium — a bar famous for its thrilling slide and whimsical fishbowl drinks — they met for the very first time. Trisha returned to Houston on Sunday, but the excitement didn’t end there. Her brother, Rishabh, needed help with a project on electrical engineers; the only person who came to mind was Rajat. Back on Twitter, she slid into Rajat's DMs for his expertise. They exchanged numbers, and from that moment on, a continuous stream of texts ignited between them, turning acquaintances into friends and eventually even more. And here’s the cherry on top: Rishabh crushed his project, scoring 95/100! What started as a casual message blossomed into an unforgettable connection and an academic triumph! Fast forward, five years later. Trisha and Rajat continued their relationship and now live in New York City, focused on their careers. On April 21, 2024, Rajat tricked Trisha into thinking she was going to an NYPL fundraiser, and actually took her to the Shakespeare Garden in Central Park! Here, he got down on one knee right next to the vibrant tulips and asked her to marry him. She said yes! Now, we're inviting you to join us on an exciting beach adventure on the Goan coastline. For two beach bums like us, a wedding in Goa with everyone we love from all across the globe is a no-brainer!
