What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:15PM to find adequate parking and seating for the ceremony.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony and Reception will both take place at Hakone Estate & Gardens. Ceremony is located at the main garden area. Reception to follow at Madrone Mound. Our wedding coordinator will guide you to the right direction. Please also map above.

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

There is a free, on-site parking lot with 79 spots available to guests and vendors. Please rideshare/carpool if possible.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with many loved ones; however that being said, we are at a full capacity for guests and unable to allow plus-ones.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Please note that all colors and patterns are welcomed, but if you wish to dress per the theme, please wear burnt orange and terracotta. We highly discourage guests from wearing heels as the venue is a garden and all walkways are gravel.

Will there be Filipino traditions?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony, we will have Sponsors, the Cord & Veil, and the giving of Coins. For the reception, we will be having the Money Dance.

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any allergies you may have, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Is there a cash bar or open bar?

Answer

We will be having an open bar from 6PM-9:30PM. Reminder to drink responsibily. If you are planning to drink please plan rides accordingly. Please do not drink and drive.
