We’re getting married!

Jared and I had hung out a few times with other friends and, at the time, I never would have guessed I would fall for someone as special as Jared. When we hung out with our friends Jared was the one that would lay back and just watch and laugh at all of us other crazies. Well I decided I wanted to break him out of that little bubble. So I asked him to join me on my best friend's trampoline. That was the beginning of the love we have now. We mostly just looked at the stars and only had little conversation. Come to find out, later on, he and I both felt so comfortable being there with each other, and lying there, even in silence, we both felt like it was just right. Flash forward, we met each other's kiddos. Our kiddos got along, well as well as sibling get along, most of the time but not all of the time, of course. My son loves Jared, and his kids love how happy their dad is. Jared had a spot on the mountains, which soon after taking me for the first time it became our spot, it was the perfect spot to lay back and look at the stars and just think. That is now the spot where my love proposed to me. With his sister picking me up and blind folding me, and driving me to the mountain where we met up with Jared and our kids. Jared's daughter, Phoebe, handed me a note to read while her and her brother, JR, stood holding a sign that said "Will you be our stepmom." After saying yes to them I turned to Jared and he proposed. Sounds simple, but it was one of the most special moments of my life. Now we get to get married and celebrate our love with our families. Which we are having such a hard time waiting for! We are so excited to join our families, and begin our lives together with so much more love than we thought we could ever imagine.
