Welcome to Our Love Story

Isn't it funny how God will just order your steps... On our first day on the job at BJC, we went around the room and introduced ourselves. They get to David first where he introduces himself. He stated his name, what team he was on, and that he plans on going to UMSL in the fall for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Next up is Trisha, who introduces herself and tells of how she plans on ALSO attending UMSL in the Fall for Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. From this moment an interest began to sprout in a young David's heart in this mysterious woman whose path seemed to converge with his just a little too conveniently. From then on came many funny Teams messages exchanged and Him waiting for me at the end of the workday, just to see me even briefly to walk me to my car or help me with my computer. To our first date at Bricktop's where he surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, we shared what we thought to be Key Lime pie (insider) and shared stories about one another. From that date forward we were inseparable. Whether it was attending church together every Sunday or just running errands, we learned to love each other and just be in each other's presence. Wherever we go laughter and joy would soon follow. Our relationship is rich in love, laughter, and experiences. But most importantly faith in God. We have received miraculous blessings and grace in the face of adversity time and time again and believe with all our hearts that God has chosen us for each other. From the very beginning, we declared 2 Corinthians 13:4-8 over our relationship and to this day we continue to marvel at how much God has been ever present in our lives. From that 1st I love you, to now as we're about to seal it with "I do", We invite you to bear witness to our love as we commit to loving one another forever. <3 Love, David and Trisha
