When a loving mom and a faithful hairstylist get together, good things do happen! A simple yellow sticky note with a familiar name and a not so familiar phone number, some facebook scrolling and then on to messenger, a little courage to take a step outside the comfort zone, and almost four years later here we are living out what we truly know is God's plan. With intentionality, commitment, laughter, joy, care, and grace we couldn't be more excited about where we are today and where life is taking us. This is one of life's full circle moments being together back in Spring Hill and finding ourselves so aligned in our faith, our love for the outdoors and traveling, our passion for business, and most of all an overarching love for our kids and our family. It has been such a wonderful adventure so far as we have traveled, reminisced about the old days and tried to reinvent a few (lol!), reunited with old friends, gained new friends, joined the boating crew at Hillsdale Lake, and bought a new home where we are making it all things for us, our kids (and one day grandkids), friends and family to enjoy. On June 6th, we will celebrate us, along side all of you, who mean the world to us. If life is such that you can't make it to the special day just know that you you will be missed but we understand. We are very thankful for the path that blessed us to have you in our lives. God gave us the opportunity to share our lives with each other and we can't wait to see what's next! xoxoxo
For those of you who have seen the 1993 Sandlot movie, it takes Brian and I back to the late 70's and early 80's where our journey just may have began. Maybe it was at a basketball game, or the local swimming pool, a friend's house, or cruising around in your Dad's '64 convertible black Ford Galaxy, we were living our best lives. It's those times we laugh at and are grateful that our parents raised us in a small town and that it is always okay to "go back home".
