Tripp and I met in college, we both went to St. Simons for a weekend trip with our friends during the Ga/Fl game! We were friends for a few years before we started dating, but one New Year’s Eve kiss later and we’ve been inseparable ever since! We began dating shortly after that and it wasn’t long before we knew, it was meant to be! We truly consider ourselves lucky because we have such a close support system of friends who are more like family and families who have embraced one another with nothing but love. We wouldn’t be where we are without them! It has been so fun to be on this journey with each other and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Last October, we were visiting Valdosta for our favorite kind of weekend spent with our friends and family. I thought we were just going out to eat, and then going home to watch football in our pjs, I was SO wrong! We were leaving our favorite restaurant, when we stopped to take a picture, I turned around & Tripp was down on one knee! Of course I was thrilled and said yes! Before I could even process what had happened we were off to celebrate at a neighboring rooftop bar. The surprise didn’t end there, we got to the rooftop and all of our friends and family were there! I was shocked! They had all been in on it the whole time and I truly had no idea! It was honestly one of the most special moments of my life, and I couldn’t have planned a better engagement myself! Tripp went above and beyond to make it the most perfect day filled with love and surrounded by the people we love most!
