We first crossed paths in high school, though back then we never really talked. Little did we know that life would keep weaving us into each other’s story at just the right moments. Years later, we worked together at Toys R Us for a short time (though Tripp swears he doesn’t remember this—despite all my questions about where the toys belong). Not long after, we bumped into each other again in Conway, where I had been living and Tripp had just moved for school. One day, I pulled up to the bank and he happened to be my teller… the funny part is, I didn’t recognize him right away. He’ll never let me live that one down! Life took us in different directions again, but fate wasn’t finished. When we both ended up back in Fayetteville, we finally connected for real—with a swipe right. After our second date, when my car remote battery died and I nearly drove us into the wrong lane, I was sure he’d run for the hills. Instead, he stayed right by my side. From that moment on, it was clear that no matter what, we were better (and safer!) together. And the rest? Well, that’s the love story we’re still writing—one laugh, one adventure, and one “remember when” at a time.
