The dress code for this event is dressy casual. Women - sundresses, cocktail-length dresses, lightweight separates. Men - light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional. Please note that some of the ceremony may take place outdoors if weather permits, so it may be best to opt for lighter fabrics or wedges rather than velvet and stilettos!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM with a reception immediately following. Please feel free to arrive at or after 3:30 PM.
The venue is about a 20-minute drive from most local hotels. There are car rentals available nearby including Hertz, Budget, Enterprise, and Zipcar. Additionally, we will have Uber vouchers available. Lafayette is around an hour away from the Indianapolis Airport, with two brands of shuttles that commute between the two. For more information on these airport shuttles, contact Lafayette Limo or Reindeer Shuttle.
Rather than the bride taking the groom's last name as is tradition, Trip and Brennan have opted to choose their last name of Larrey. "Larrey" is the last name of Trip's grandparents, and it was important to her to honor them in this way. Brennan agreed that forming a new last name based in family ties was a good way to begin married life together. After signing their wedding license, the couple will legally be Brennan Edmondson Larrey and Grace Trip Larrey.
Please RSVP either by mail or online by August 20. If there are any complications with this, please let us know.
Please indicate on your RSVP any dietary restrictions so that we can accommodate them for our reception dinner.
Plus ones that were given were included on invitations. Please understand that we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.
We will be having a catered Olive Garden dinner at the reception including little bites and appetizers. Dessert will also be provided after dinner.
While gifts are never expected, we appreciate you thinking of us! The registry tab on our website has links to our registries through Zola and Target, as well as some cash funds we have put together.
We will have an open beer and wine bar. Due to venue and state regulations, there will be no liquor served. We will also have non-alcoholic drinks including sodas, teas, water, and a Keurig available.
Weather in the Midwest is always unpredictable, but typically the beginning of September is sunny with an average low of 60F and high of 78F. If weather permits, we are hoping to have part of the ceremony outdoors.
We will be taking our honeymoon to Exuma, Bahamas.

We completely understand any concerns about COVID-19. We will be masking up and testing ourselves the week leading up to the wedding and encourage our guests to do the same. While it may be tempting, please do not attend the wedding if you feel ill, COVID or otherwise. Although the happy couple is up to date on all vaccinations and boosters, we will be attending our honeymoon immediately after the wedding and would hate to have to cancel or be sick during our vacation together, let alone risk our loved ones getting exposed.
It is important to us to do all that we can to make the venue accessible to all our loved ones. There is handicap parking available as well as pavement leading into the venue, and a handicap-accessible bathroom. If conditions permit, we will have the ceremony in a small clearing in the woods that is accessible from a short path. We will have microphones during the ceremony to amplify our voices. During the reception, there will be many places on the property to mingle if you need to escape the noise. If you have any further concerns with accessibility, please reach out so that we may address them and include you!
If you have any pressing questions in advance, please reach out to the bride and groom! During the week leading up to and the day of the wedding, please direct any questions to our wedding planner, Katie, at (224) 622-0193. We hope you understand that during this time, we will be trying to relax and finish up our preparations and that she will be able to best help you.
