Meet the VIPs ...

Zak Loverro

Best Man/Brother of the groom

Hi, my name is Zak and I have the honor of being Aaron's Best Man. As Aaron's younger brother, I have known him for 30 years and watched him grow into the man he is today. He has always been someone I looked up to and relied on, from helping me when I was going through tough times to moving me into my college dorms, he has been the best brother I could ask for. When he met Amanda, I knew this one was special and would be one for the ages. I couldn't be more excited to celebrate their special day!

Briana Covington

Maid of Honor

I am beyond thrilled to witness the beginning of this beautiful new chapter for Amanda and Trip. Amanda and I have shared a wonderful friendship for the past ten years, and in that time, I have seen her grow into the incredible person she is today. Seeing her find someone who complements her so perfectly, who brings her so much joy and love, is truly heartwarming. There is no doubt in my mind that she and Trip are meant for each other. Wishing these two amazing souls a lifetime of laughter, love, and endless happiness as they embark on this new journey together. May their future be as radiant and full of love as the bond they share!

Paula Pardini

Officiant

I am serving as the officiant of this wedding. Trip and his siblings have known me for years because we have been engaged with the CYO Camp experience and the heart family we created there together. Amanda entered into Trip’s life and has come to see the “serendipity” in our friendship and in her deep connection to Trip. It is an honor for me to be the celebrant of this marriage, as God’s Love is obvious in their union.

Aidé Najera

Master of Ceremonies

Aaron and Aidé first crossed paths at CYO camp in 2011, and what began as a shared love for Zelda quickly blossomed into a deep and lasting connection. As a lighthearted joke, Aaron invited Aidé to join him on the Central American leg of his backpacking journey, never expecting her to say yes. Yet, without a second thought, Aidé agreed, and a few months later, they found themselves adventuring together through seven countries by plane, bus, boat, and taxi. The trip, full of unexpected challenges and near-disasters, tested their resilience in ways they could never have anticipated—but in doing so, it forged a bond between them that would last a lifetime. Their friendship, shaped by those wild and unforgettable experiences, remains unshakable to this day.

Ryan "Rato" Adams

Groomsman

Hey, my name is Ryan Adams. I am one of Trip’s best friends and he is one of mine. I met him back in 2017 at a video game tournament and we both had water bottles full of some booze concoction. So I basically said “hey man, you wanna sip on this ‘loser juice’ and he hell yeah, and I said hell yeah, and then basically we’ve just been homies ever since. We’ve been through a lot together, and I will say that he is one of the coolest people I've ever met despite the fact that he has terrible opinions when it comes to movies and music…I'll forgive him for that, but he's only a fraction as cool as Amanda is. Amanda is so sweet. I love her. I love Trip. I love both of them and I'm so glad that they are taking this step together. I honestly can't imagine a better couple and I'm so so so so glad that they’re getting married. I'm getting a little emotional to be honest, but you know... I'm so glad I get to be a part of this and I can only imagine the best is yet to come. So thank you, Trip-stopher. Thank you, Amanda-pweaze. And, you know. Hell yeah. Let’s go.

Nithin Mathew

Groomsman

Aaron and I met because he shot spitballs at me during a class that helped junior high kids get into Prep High Schools. We got in trouble, but I wasn’t mad, I just believed then the same thing that I believe now – this is the coolest person on the planet. I know that’s as lame as possible for two bros meeting, but it got worse, neither of us knew how to talk to chicks at the time. We ended up going to different high schools but the same weekly Catholic youth group where our friendship became unbreakable. During this time, we built each other up and pretty soon there was nobody better than us at stocking liquor, throwing the perfect parties, performing keg stands, and most importantly talking to girls (you are welcome Amanda). In fact, I had to introduce partying to Aaron, but now the student has surpassed the master. I helped Aaron come out to world as the coolest person on the planet, he has become Triple A. Although Trip is always to humble and gives me credit, I have to say that it is me that owes my life to him. I wouldn’t be anything without you bro, I’d take bullet for you in a second.

Justine Oliva

Groomswoman

Hi, my name is Justine! I am a rock climbing enthusiast and avid coffee drinker. I met Trip in the summer of 2015 at CYO camp where we were camp counselors working in the great outdoors together. We've been buds ever since. He truly is one of a kind and like another brother to me. Whether it's slamming some beers or exploring new places, Trip is always the life of the party. I can't wait to celebrate Trip and Amanda's special day!

Michael "Archer"

Groomsman

When I met Trip as a baby faced freshman in college, I thought Trip was a legend. He soon after became a big brother. Nearly a decade later, after all the parties, debates, camping, spearfishing trips, and our Vegas vacation, Trip is one of my Best Friends and I am so grateful to be here as this new chapter of Trip’s life with Amanda begins.

Meg Scherer

Groomswoman

Aaron and I first met at CYO camp in 2011, where our shared passion for creating meaningful experiences for kids in the redwoods quickly turned into a lasting friendship. From there, we became college roommates at Southern Oregon University, deepening our bond and learning more from each other every day. I am incredibly proud of Aaron and the way he's grown over the years. Our friendship is built on the idea that "everyone you meet is both your teacher and your student," and I truly believe we embody that in our relationship. I love him like family, and I’m excited to stand by his side on this special day.

Franklyn Martinez

Groomsman

How’s it going, my names Franklin. I’ve known Aaron for close to twenty years now. From two different coast, we met in the lovely small rural town of Pascoag, RI. From being young campers to our brief stint as counselors in training together. To the “Get Togethers” we would attend, and those early morning fishing trips with his uncle in Point Judith. I could list many more memories and excite you with details, but that’ll be for another time. My friendship with Aaron means a lot, I have a handful of friends that we could go without talking for what feels like years, to only conversate after sometime and feel like we left off on a conversation we had yesterday. Thank you for being one of those in that handful! Congratulations my brother and friend and look forward to your guys’ special day!

Kiev Simonfy

Groomsman

I Met Aaaron in 2010 at CYO camp when I was 16. Since he was a younger dude, we became homies right away. I’m still impressed by his genuine interest and enthusiasm for meeting people. His quirks and confidence have remained strong through the years. I appreciate his natural ability to bring people together and make sure the vibes are fun and outrageous. I can count on him to be a listening ear with endless hot takes. So happy for the boy Trip. Love you!

Joe Varni

Groomsman

Hi, my name is Joe and I have the honor of being one of Aaron's groomsmen. I have known Aaron for almost 10 years and watched him mature from a camp boi into the man he is today. From random trips to Downtown Fullerton, or adventure hikes in the redwoods, I can always count on Aaron for some fun escapades. You can see the love Aaron and Amanda have is something special. I couldn't be more excited to celebrate their special day!

Steven Jesus Rodriguez

Groomsman

“Hey, you look like me,” were the first words Trip ever said to me in 2011 at CYO Camp. He, of course, failed to acknowledge that at the tender age of 17, I was already much more handsome than he was. Just one year later, Trip finally realized this and would habitually drive down to my college campus in Santa Cruz just to see my beautiful smile. In that time, we became brothers of mischief. We poured beer into each other’s mouths in every conveivable way, formed the notroius Hip-Hop duo “Hella Deer,” and threw house shows with hundreds of college students who eagerly joined us in casting away any possibilty of going to class the next morning. We made habbits of freestyle rapping in the Scraper Van and playing Legend of Zelda religiously. It would not be too much longer that Trip would find his Princess Zelda in Amanda. Trip is the kind of friend who would drive an hour just to give you a hug when you were having a hard time. He’ll surprise you endlessly with his relentlless generosity and undeniable talent in bringing people together. He’ll show up for you when no one else will. It’s these same qualities that will contribute to an endleslly enriching marriage with Amanda. Wishing you both the best <3

Rachel Loverro

Bridesmaid/Sister of the Groom

I’m Rachel, Aaron’s little sister, which basically means I’ve had a front-row seat to his endless quest for attention my whole life. Somehow, he managed to grab Amanda’s attention, and keep it. If you know anything about these two they love a good movie night, but probably won’t ever be caught watching a romantic comedy. Instead, they are the rom-com where you’re not sure sure if they’re going to kill each other or have a big romantic moment, but they always make it work. What’s special about their relationships is that Amanda doesn’t just tolerate Aaron’s quirks she seems to actually enjoy them and they truly bring out the best in each other. I’ve really never seen my brother happier. Sadly they’ll never have a dog, but their bug “pets” probably give great cuddles. Amanda, I already know your patience is limitless because, well, you’ve signed up for a lifetime of Aaron. I love you guys and can’t wait for the wedding!

Brandon Trumble

Bridesman/Brother of the Bride

I'm Brandon, Amanda's Big Brother. I am so happy that my sister has found the man that loves her and wants to spend the rest of her life with! Trip and Amanda have the greatest times together wherever they are in the world! I wish them endless happiness and countless years to grow and enjoy life together!

Brenda Ruiz

Bridesmaid/Sister of the Bride

I can't believe how fast time has flown! Watching you grow up over the years has been such a joy, and now to see you getting married fills my heart with happiness. Despite the 12-year age gap between us, our sister-bond has always felt special, and I am just so proud of the person you’ve become. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for you and Trip.

Lisa Ilyin

Bridesmaid

I once heard that the friends worth keeping are the ones you’d be proud to introduce to your children someday, and Amanda is exactly that. We have both evolved so much since we met 8 years ago, and I feel incredibly lucky to have grown alongside her. Although we’ve been long-distance friends for years, the miles mean so little when she means so much. Amanda is honest, generous, caring, and loyal—the perfect friend in every way. I am extremely honored to be celebrating this special day with her and Trip, and I couldn’t be happier for them both!

Haley Ranger

Bridesmaid

Hi, I’m Haley! Amanda and I met about two years ago on Bumble BFF online dating to find friends LOL. When her and I first met, we instantly clicked. After we hung out for the first time, I thought to myself, “yeah, she’s a solid friend.” Amanda is dedicated, direct, compassionate, and very kind human being—these are a few of the MANY traits I love about her! Now, Trip and Amanda together make a great team. You can talk to them literally about anything and everything along with being such warm welcoming people. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness <3
