Why Opelika?

We live here! We settled in the Auburn and Opelika area about 3 years ago to pursue our graduate degrees.

What can we do in the area?

Answer

Fall is one of the best times to visit! Some of our favorites places include Botanic, Lucy’s, or Savahn Thai. We also like to hike in Siddique Nature Park or Chewacla State Park.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Cocktail. Although any Halloween flair is encouraged. You are even welcome to wear a Halloween costume!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony space is outdoors, on grass. The reception space is in an open-air indoor space, equipped with tower patio heaters. It will likely cool to the 50s at night, so bring a sweater just in case!

I have dietary restrictions, what can I eat at the wedding?

Answer

If you don't eat meat, dinner will include vegan and vegetarian options!

Will there be Halloween fun for the kids?

Answer

Yes! We encourage kids to show up in their costumes and be ready for some Halloween activities!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

No, we do not. We’ve lived together for years and truly have everything we need. Since most of our guests will be traveling to celebrate with us, we request that there be no gifts. We want to acknowledge the time and resources it takes to plan a trip like this. Your presence, whether in spirit or in person, is more than enough!
