All because two people fell in love

Trinity and Stockton’s story began at Legacy Church of Christ in the summer of 2024. Trinity was the youth group intern that year, spending her days leading mission trips and Bible studies with a group of students who always had something to say, especially about someone named Stockton. He had been the youth intern a few years earlier, and the teens spoke about him all the time. Trinity did her best to brush off their hints and keep the focus on her work, but meanwhile, Stockton had already taken notice. He messaged her first, and when that went unanswered, he didn’t give up. Instead, he asked her in person if she would help him “test” a putt-putt course for a work event. She said yes, later finding out that the work event was just a cover for a hopeful first date. That evening was the beginning of something neither of them expected but both quickly felt. At work, they kept things professional and centered on God, pretending they barely knew each other. Outside those walls, though, they grew closer with an ease that made it feel like they had known each other much longer. They officially began dating on July 6, 2024. On July 19, 2025, Stockton asked Trinity to marry him, and she said yes. Now they’re eagerly looking forward to June 4, 2026; the day they begin their next chapter together as husband and wife.
