Maid of Honor
If her similar looks didn't make it obvious, she is my younger sister and the maid of honor! Growing up, we were often mistaken as twins much to our displeasure, but looking back I can't blame people for thinking so. We were tied to the hip from the day she was born and she's been my partner in crime ever since. Although she knows exactly how to annoy me, I couldn't imagine anyone else standing by my side on one of the most important days of my life.
Bridesmaid
When I met Madison back in 2013, one of the first things I learned about her was her dislike of canned tuna. For some odd reason, this is my first memory of her. The next 11 years together have been filled with endless memories with her ranging from countless unannounced sleepovers to the many nights we've spent playing online horror games. Madison has been a part of so many of my most treasured moments, and I can't wait for her to be a bridesmaid on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
On the first day of eighth grade, I thought I would make a great first impression if I wore a shirt with a big smiley face on it to create a "happy" image of myself. However, to Azannah, this was not the message she received and she perceived me as a scary person out to bully her for the rest of the school year. Azannah is one of the most unique and artistic people I've ever met and first impressions aside, we've been best friends ever since; 11 years and counting!
Bridesmaid
Avery is one of the bridesmaids and is Madison's little sister! Through these years, I've learned that Avery is very strong-willed and ambitious toward the goals she sets. She's had to deal with Madison and I during our many sleepovers and especially during our two-week graduation trip to Japan in the summer of 2018. This trip was the first time we've all ever been on a girl's trip in a different country and hopefully, it will be the first of many trips to come!
Best Man
Chance and I have been loyal friends since my high school days. When I left Waycross to join the Army, Chance had also gone to join the Air Force, though much more lamer than the Army. Regardless of the distance, our friendship has never drifted apart. I know Chance will always be there when I need him. There is no one better to be my right-hand man on this special occasion.
Groomsman
Vaughn and I first met in Monterey, California in 2019, and from day 1 we forged an everlasting friendship. As roommates, we spent countless late nights together in the barracks, while drinking maybe a little more than we should. It is hard to recall a good memory from the service without Vaughn being in it—a true battle buddy for life.
Groomsman
Jonathan is a truly special friend, who has been making me laugh since high school. I will never forget the memories we made, especially the cringy YouTube videos. As I get older and life moves on, I often find myself reminiscing over the good times we spent together. I am very grateful to have him as part of my wedding and my life.
Groomsman
It is hard to find a true friend like Javon. Even though our friendship began in high school, there has always been a strong sense of familiarity, as if he has always been there with me. Whether it's through good times or challenging moments, he's always someone I could depend on. Having him as a groomsman means a lot, and I can not imagine this day without him.
