Travel Note

Carpool!!

Before all other travel methods we recommend driving/carpooling!! The drive to Michigan from Kansas city is almost 10.5 hours. However, there are only 3 turns you have to make the whole trip! Long story short, the drive is long but it is not too hard when spaced out between drivers. It's a pretty affordable option and you can listen to your music as loud as you want!!

Flight

Gerald R. Ford International Airport

If driving is not your thing flying is the next best thing. Flying into Grand Rapids will leave you with a little over an hour to Whitehall (recommended for hotel stays). Although it is a bit of a drive, finding a flight into Grand Rapids will be easier than any other airport, and they have many rental car options.

Muskegon County Airport (MKG)

Muskegon County Airport is a smaller airport than GR, however it is only about 35-40 minutes from Whitehall. It is a much closer option but with it being a small airport it may be harder to find the right flights coming into and leaving Michigan.
