Our story began in middle school. Devante and I were classmates in the eighth grade, assigned to sit next to each other in English class. We were casual friends, often getting in trouble for laughing in the back corner of the classroom during work time. Little did we know we would later reconnect and begin dating Junior year of high school, go to college together, center our relationship around Jesus Christ, and get engaged. Now we are here, preparing to spend the rest of our lives together and couldn't be happier.
