FAQs

If you have any questions beyond what is listed here, please do not hesitate to reach out to us — we would love to hear from you.
Question

When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

Our Nuptial Mass will take place on Saturday, June 20, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Memphis. Mass will begin promptly at 10 am.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is Daytime Formal — elevated daytime attire encouraged. Women are invited to wear full-length dresses in lightweight, flowing fabrics. Men should wear button-down shirts and dress slacks; suit jackets or sport coats are welcome. Soft colors, pastels, florals, and breathable fabrics are encouraged.

Question

What is a Catholic Nuptial Mass?

Answer

Our ceremony will include traditional prayers, readings, and practices of the Catholic faith, along with Holy Communion. Please note that Holy Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics who are in a state of grace, but all guests are warmly invited to come forward for a blessing. This honors both the reverence of the Mass and the beliefs of all who join us in celebration.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Children and babies are joyfully welcome to take part in every aspect of our wedding day. We encourage families to celebrate together in the pews rather than feeling the need to stay in the back or cry room unless truly needed.

Question

Is the reception immediately after the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a brief intermission between the ceremony and reception to allow time for travel and wedding portraits. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this short break.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

Our intimate brunch reception for close friends and family will be held at Pike & West in Germantown following the ceremony. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served as we celebrate together.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend, as our reception will be small and reserved for close family and friends.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Please allow a few extra minutes for parking and entering the church before the ceremony begins. At the reception venue, there is no on site parking; however, overflow parking is available at Germantown Methodist, located at 2333 West St., Germantown, TN 38138.

Question

How can I pray for you?

Answer

We’d be honored to have you join us in prayer as we prepare for our vocation of marriage. You can visit our Prayer Requests section on this site for specific intentions for our marriage, Deuce’s naval service, and all those traveling to celebrate with us.
