This has been debated since the moment we met (or reconnected?). What is the real moment we met? Christopher claims it was in 4th grade. I claim it was in 12th, so let me tell you both sides and then you can decide! Chris and I have both lived in New Milford our whole lives, went to separate elementary schools (Northville for the win) and then were in the same school ever since 4th grade. Did we ever share a class together? Nope. I never interacted with him prior to senior year of high school. HOWEVER, in 4th grade, my friend Eleana allegedly approached Christopher and his twin brother, Joey, in the lunch line on a random day. She, allegedly, asked BOTH of them out on MY behalf. Mind you, I did not know them. I did not know OF them. And if anyone knew me as a child, you know I was wayyyy too shy to ask out not one, but TWO people at once. Anyway, ew cooties, they said no and turned around. To this day, Chris insists this happened, Eleana has a vague memory of the event, and I remember absolutely nothing. But I would like to point out, the only way I agree to this story, is that we take into consideration that Eleana is a psychic medium (really, she is. She will be at the wedding reading tarot cards!) and she knew at nine years old that Chris and I were meant for each other, (was just a little confused which twin it was). Otherwise, we met in 12th grade, when we had a class together for the very first time, in the second half of the year. This version of our story is way less interesting and too modern -- he added me on snapchat, we talked online first, and then I very subtley posted "who wants to go on a hike with me and my dog tomorrow" on my snapchat story. I, of course, meant it for Christopher, but I had another friend ask to go. Thankfully, she understood my awkward plan and ceded when Chris asked to hike with me. I picked Christopher up from his house the next morning, butterflies swarming my stomach, and my puppy Tiger Lily anxiously standing in the backseat. The first thing Lily did to meet him -- bite his nose. Don't worry, Chris got his vengeance when he asked me out a week later at Lily's first birthday party (and now our anniversary is on Lily's birthday!).
