We started our journey in a small town in southern Nigeria where we said hello a few times but did not give it much attention. Years later, fate once again brought our paths together as we navigated the journey of life in pursuit of the next phase of our careers. When we first met up, we both sat in a local restaurant in downtown Silverspring, Maryland, and within minutes we realized how much of a complement our personalities were. We fell in love and the rest, as they say, is history. It is wonderful to have you be a part of all the wonderful things that are happening in our lives.

Tobe came to Silverspring for a visit on the 5th day of December 2021, where I was living at the time. Since he knew that I was interested in the beauty and hair industry, he told me that he'd set up a meeting with an experienced cosmetologist. Even though I was excited about the news, I seemed rather puzzled as setting up a business was not our immediate focus. I curiously followed his lead, waiting to see what he was up to. It was a pleasure meeting with the beauty guru and then we started talking about her line of business. Tobe made a reservation for a dinner date later that evening after my meeting. I had my hair, and make-up done by the beauty guru/make-up artist. On arriving at the Water Gate Hotel/Restaurant in D.C., there was a romantic setup at the entrance where there were signs that said: "Marry me". I was very surprised when he went down on one knee in front of family and friends and proposed to me.
