We are tying the knot!

Matt and Lauren met at Eurofins Lancaster Lab in 2016. Lauren was fresh out of college and Matt was a stressed out trainer/analyst. After a business trip to San Diego, Lauren and Matt became friends (despite Matt only playing Total Eclipse of the Heart the entire trip). After a few months Matt asked Lauren out and she said no she just wanted to be friends. However, the following weekend Lauren realized she made a mistake when she realized she spent a whole weekend telling her friend Lizzie all about her grumpy friend Matt. Luckily Matt was still willing to take Lauren out on a date. He took her to a tea/spice shop and then to paint pottery. Lauren thought it was the perfect date. A house, and four dogs later Matt proposed in the Laundry room of their house. He had joked for years that he would propose if Lauren could manage to wash,dry, fold and put away all of her laundry in one day 3x consecutively. In August 2022, six years after they started dating, it finally happened, Lauren finished all of her laundry in one day, three weekends in a row, and even managed to do Matt’s as well. The rest is history!
