From Sunday school pals to college companions, our story took a turn for the romantic after an adventure together sparked more than just wanderlust. We've known each other since we were 5 years old. We can’t count how many times our paths have crossed without realizing that our life partners have been right in front of us the entire time. After a very memorable vacation to the West Coast in 2017, we discovered different sides to each other which made us intrigued and eager to know more. That first trip together eventually turned into a leap of faith and created a chain reaction of many first experiences, including our first date.

With Khanh’s wittiness, he bamboozled Trinh into planning their first date after winning a bet against her. Little did Khanh know, that was the best bet he had ever won; not realizing that this moment was the start to their love story. They embarked on a mini road trip to visit the National Aquarium and Children’s Museum in Baltimore. They had dinner at Bubba Gump followed by the enchantment of a Christmas village, which became their favorite couple’s holiday tradition. They wrapped up their magical night under the glow of “Miracle on 34th Street” surrounded by the most festive light display. People win bets because they believe they’re lucky. However, Khanh and Trinh knew this was fate.
