OUR TIME HAS COME!!!

We first met at Walmart on the job. I was a newly hired associate working Layaway until we moved to the new location and begin working as a Wireless Sales Associate in the Electronics Dept. Teak was a 5th year associate currently working in Electronics. We were introduced by a fellow coworker as I was trainng to learn and understand the operations and procedures of the department. As time went on, Teak and I learned we had similar hobbies (nerdy hobbies lol) which cause him to become more interested in me. One day he approached me by offering his contact information and I returned the favor b/c I sense something in him that made me interested in him. We talked while at work and off the clock. Eventually one day in November, at work, Teak saw a old friend. The friend introduced his girlfriend to us and Teak introduced me to them as his girlfriend, to my surprise. Once his friend left, I asked him if we were officially in a relationship. He replied "Yes we are", and we have been inseparable since ☺😍!!!

Weeks before Valentines Day, I had asked Teak if we could go to Outbreak Steak House to celebrate V-Day together. On that day, it started as a regular: wake up, greet each other, I prepare breakfast, we exchanged gifts, and kept each other company. That evening, we arrived to Outbreak and check in. As we sit outside waiting for a table, Teak states that he needs to retrieve his phone from the car. I'm thinking "When has he ever left his phone ANYWHERE!!!". Before he makes it to his car, we are notified that our table is ready. So we head back in, go to our table, order, and begin enjoying our meal. Suddenly Teak says he's going to the car to retrieve his phone and I said ok. When he returns, he mainly looks at me instead of resuming to eat his meal, which I found weird. Suddenly he asked me to stand, and I'm hesitate b/c I'm wondering what is he doing. As soon as I stand, he drops onto his knee and asked "Will You Marry Me???!!!" in front of the customers!!! After my slight delay and confusion, I said yes!!! He was so nervous that he almost accidentally put the ring on the wrong finger on the wrong hand lol. Everyone around us clapped and we really made an elderly couple's night for this was the very 1st time they have seem a proposal in public.
