They met when Tyler slid into Trina's DMs. Translation: He sent a message to Trina on SnapChat. Tyler had just graduated from THE Ohio State University and was preparing for his graduate program at Wright State. Trina was a rising junior at OSU. The pair spent the summer of 2015 texting and FaceTiming before they finally met in person at Ohio Stadium in July 2015. The weekend Tyler moved to Dayton to begin his studies, Trina came to visit him. He surprised her with tickets to Kevin Hart's comedy show scheduled for later that fall. "I guess that means we have stay together at least until October." she said. While laughing and watching Netflix, Tyler asked Trina to be his girlfriend. She of course said "yes" on August 29, 2015. Then she said "yes" again 3 years later on January 5, 2019. Together, they will say "I do" before God in the witness of all their loved ones on August 7, 2020. And to that, they hope to live #HappilyEverEdwards.
