Most people will be driving in Friday afternoon and making a long weekend of it. If you are coming from farther away and plan on flying, the closest airport is the Asheville Regional Airport.  The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 2 hours away and Hartsfield-Jackson (Atlanta) airport is 3.5 hours away.
