All guests in attendance will be required to show proof upon entry to the venue of a negative COVID-19 test taken the week of the wedding. Any type of test is acceptable, including home tests. However, PCR tests are generally recommended as they are more accurate than rapid tests; home/rapid tests tend to have a higher chance of resulting in a false positive. PCR tests can also take up to 72 hours for results to come back, so please plan accordingly. If you are in Colorado, there are numerous sites that offer free PCR tests (some even have drive-thru testing). Some sites do require an appointment and they can fill up a couple of weeks in advance. If you are out of state, please check your local websites to find test availability.
Arrive by 3:30 p.m. to get settled in your seat before the ceremony starts. The ceremony spot is in the meadow at the venue. There will be people at the venue to direct you to the meadow, but it is a short walk.
Semi-formal. It's also the mountains in April, so be sure to check the weather a week or so before. Could be a snowstorm, could be 75 and sunny :)
Our plan is for the ceremony to be outside and for the cocktail hour and reception to be indoors. We have a contingency plan if all events need to be inside.
We have a room block in place at the Best Western in Estes Park, CO. When booking, call and let the hotel know that you are with the Trillo/Avis Wedding. We recommend all guests stay at that hotel or one within walking distance as we will be providing transportation to and from the hotel and venue.
We will be providing shuttles to and from the venue and the Best Western in Estes Park.
If flying, we recommend flying into Denver International Airport and renting a car to drive to your hotel. Depending on the weather, it will likely make the most sense to rent an AWD vehicle. Keep in mind, the weather in the mountains is a bit unpredictable and is usually snowier and colder than the Denver metro area. If you are driving just from the airport or all the way from your home, we strongly recommend downloading a Google map of the area. There is limited service ion the drive through the mountains and in the Allenspark area in general.
Yes! There is ample parking. There is also a spot to drop off guests right by the ceremony spot for those who can't easily make the walk from the parking lot to the ceremony spot. There is a pathway from the parking lot, but it isn't paved.
We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!
Dinner and drinks will be provided. There will be beer and wine at the hosted bar. The venue has a full bar available, but anything beyond the hosted bar is on your own tab. Please note any dietary restrictions in your RSVP.
We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials with an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony conclusion! We have hired wonderful photographers and a videographer who will capture all of the important moments and we will share those after the wedding.
We'll be utilizing online RSVP's right on our website.
Yes! Our registry is through Zola, so you can access it from the tab above on this website.
