What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire (Men: Suits or Blazers & Khakis). The ceremony and a majority of the reception will be outdoors on grass, please keep footwear in mind. There will also be a light walk from the ceremony to the reception. Also, please keep in mind it is September in Maine and the weather and temperatures can fluctuate, so a layer is always nice to have.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

YES! We have arranged for a bus to pick up guests staying at the Westin Portland Harborview Hotel which will be departing @ 3:30 PM. The same bus will stop to pick up other guests at The Higgins Beach Inn @ 3:50 and the Prouts Neck CC parking lot @ 4:05. Transportation back to The Higgins Beach Inn and the Westin Portland Harborview will be available at the end of the evening as well. Note: Please check back soon as we are working to arrange transportation for the Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Picnic

Parking For the Ceremony?

Answer

Parking is not available at the Yacht Club where the ceremony will take place. We recommend using the provided bus transportation. If you do choose to drive to the event, please park at the Country Club and the bus will pick up guests to drop them off right at the Yacht Club (see bus schedule above).
