On September 30, 2012, Philip and Tricia spent an afternoon together eating lunch at Panera. The two of them were set up by Tricia's field hockey coach and Philip's roommate, Kim Bianchi. They enjoyed their food, conversation and couldn't keep their eyes off one another. When Philip got home, he found out he left his wallet at Panera. He was able to retrieve it the next morning with everything still in it. Talk about being swept off your feet. After dating for three months, the two entered into a long distance relationship for four years. They spent a lot of time on the phone, Skype, and traveling to see each other. In January 2017, Tricia moved down to Tennessee, where Philip worked at the University of the South. They were finally reunited.

Philip proposed to Tricia next to the Christmas tree on the university campus. The both of them are excited for the future and are looking forward to sharing their special day with all of you.
