Our Story
When Renee found out she was moving to Minneapolis she changed her location settings on her dating app to scope out the dating pool in MN.
Meanwhile, 2000 miles away, Trey vowed to delete his dating apps if a certain tattooed Canadian didn't message back by the next day.
A week later, the two settled in their respective apartments to enjoy a quick 3 hour FaceTime date. It took no time at all for them to realize there was something special going on, and another FaceTime date was soon on the schedule.
For months, they got to know one another over FaceTime. They fell in love with each other's souls, and counted down the days until Renee would move to the US.
On June 7, Trey met Renee for the first time in the arrivals wing of the MSP airport.
They say when you know you know; Trey and Renee knew. In March of 2025, Trey proposed. It was the easiest 'yes' of Renee's life.
On Oct 10, 2025, they tied the knot in front of their parents in the same park they got engaged in.
