We’re getting married !!

In 2017 Trey walked in Savannah’s first job with his mom grocery shopping. Immediately Savannah excitedly said “HEY TREY!” to which he said hello back. Trey made his mom check out in Savannah’s line & they talked until they were done checking out. A month later Trey walked into one of Savannah’s classes and she told him that he had to sit by her, and he did. Savannah offered to bring Trey home from school just to spend more time with him. Trey took Savannah on their first date in September of 2017 to Linda’s Chicken where he asked her to prom with a milkshake. She replied “if we are still talking by then haha” and he said “oh we will be. You’ll be my girlfriend”. From then on out Savannah and Trey were inseparable. They spent everyday together and talked 24/7. Trey asked Savannah to be his girlfriend one night at Rise Haunted House on October 27, 2017.

Savannah & Trey scheduled their first trip by themselves to McComb, Mississippi to a cute little cabin tucked away in 27 acres of woods. It was just a weekend trip for the two of them to get away. On the first night there Trey & Savannah had a reservation to a fancy restaurant outside of town, but Trey wanted to stop somewhere first. Trey told Savannah to wear her white dress he had bought her when it was time to get ready. On the way to the surprise stop before dinner Trey noticed it was about to rain, but he had to stop at Walmart first to get stuff for the surprise. He ran into Walmart as fast as he could and ran out and then drove to the surprise. Trey parked the car, opened the door for Savannah & walked her to a bridge called the “Bridge of Sighs”. He put a lock on the bridge and wrote their initials. After they took a minute to look at the view, Trey told Savannah to close her eyes. Trey set his phone up on the bridge, hit record & told Savannah to turn around and open her eyes. She turned around & immediately started crying. He waited for her to calm down a little bit & asked “Savannah, will you marry me?” To which Savannah cried even harder and said “YES!!!”. A bus that had tourist had stopped to watch the proposal happen & honked in congratulations & people around that saw clapped. Savannah & Trey quickly rushed back to their car before the rain started & Savannah immediately called her mom, his mom, her best friends, and made a tiktok that she had been waiting to finish when he finally proposed.

Over the years we have been showered with love & support from our family and friends. We want to say a special thank you to everyone. You all have made such a positive impact on our lives. Thank you for always loving us, being there, showing up, supporting, giving us advice, and creating such wonderful memories with us. Our big day would not be completed without any of you. We are so excited to have everyone we love & cherish in one place to celebrate the start of our lives together.
