Things To Do

The Wedding Website of MacKinzie Neal and Trey Rice
Chicago has been voted the best big city in the U.S. for 8 years in a row! There is so much to do and discover. Below are a few of our favorite restaurants and activities!

Goddess and the Baker

33 South Wabash Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

Fast-casual, fun cafe! Serving breakfast, sandwiches, salads, baked goods and great coffee.

Giordano's - Millenium Park

130 E Randolph St., Chicago, IL 60601

It goes without saying that while in Chicago, you need to try Chicago-style pizza! Giordano's is a Chicago staple in the heart of downtown, offering all the Chicago classics like deep-dish and tavern style pizzas, Italian beef sandwiches and fresh salads.

Miller's Pub

134 South Wabash Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

A Chicago institution since 1935. Great atmosphere, service and food. Lunch, Dinner, Late Night Snacks & Drinks, located under the L-Train tracks next to The Palmer House.

The Gage

24 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

Cozy, eclectic gastropub with delicious food and outdoor seating. MacKinzie celebrated here with her mom and sisters after finding her wedding dress! Located on Michigan Avenue across from The Bean. We highly recommend their fish & chips and the Venison burger!

Cindy's Rooftop

12 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

This is one of our favorite spots to grab a drink and admire the great views of Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. Located on the top floor of the Chicago Athletic Club on Michigan Ave. Reservations encouraged!

Shake Shack Chicago Athletic Association

12 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

Fast food burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries and shakes! Located in the Chicago Athletic Association on Michigan Ave.

Chicago's First Lady Cruises

112 East Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601

Trey and MacKinzie celebrated her 28th birthday with a First Lady Architecture Cruise on the Chicago River. We HIGHLY recommend this 90 minute boat tour! Some of the best views of Chicago are from the water.

Chicago Riverwalk

99 Chicago Riverwalk, Chicago, IL 60601

The pedestrian-friendly Riverwalk stretches 1.25 miles from Lake Michigan to Lake Street. Along that stretch you will find cafes, bars, boat excursions and beautiful views of Chicago! Get your steps in and stop for lunch or a refreshing drink along the way...our favorite's are Tiny Tapp and The Northman Beer and Cider Garden.

Millennium Park Campus

201 E Randolph St., Chicago, IL 60601

Millennium Park is classic Chicago, with many iconic things to do and see. Snap a picture of your reflection at The Bean, splash around in Crown Fountain, wander Lurie Garden and so much more! It is a short walk from our venue and it is free to visit.

Navy Pier

600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

Navy Pier has endless options for things to see and do: scenic boat rides on the lake, local food vendors, the largest rooftop bar in the country, outdoor music, indoor gardens, carnival rides, and of course, the 200 ft Ferris wheel!

The Art Institute of Chicago

111 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60603

Ranked one of the top museums in the world. Growing up, MacKinzie's favorite exhibit was the Thorne Miniature Rooms!
