Trey and Julie met in Austin in the summer of 2021. Julie had moved there for a summer internship, while Trey was already working at the company full-time. When Trey discovered that Julie was a student at his favorite college (O-H!), he couldn’t help but feel it was meant to be. That summer, they spent their time getting to know each other, building a connection that quickly grew into something deeper. When August arrived, and Julie had to return to Ohio to finish her final semester, neither of them was ready to say goodbye. Before she left, Trey asked Julie to be his girlfriend, giving her a Texas-shaped necklace—a symbol to keep that special summer close to her heart, and maybe even a promise of future trips to see his favorite football team together. They spent the next four months doing long distance, counting down the days until they could be together again. In December, after graduating, Julie moved back to Austin, where they began building a life side by side. Today, they share a home, a lovable dog named Bear, and a life filled with love and joy. If their story teaches anything, it’s that when you find your person, no distance is too great. They believe their relationship was part of God’s plan, and they pray that each day of their marriage reflects and honors Him. Thank you all for being here to celebrate the beginning—and the foundation—of their love story.
