We met months before we started dating, but it wasn’t God’s plan for us to pursue a relationship yet. Several months passed, and through a series of unexpected events, we began our friendship. Hurricane Ian brought so much destruction to people, but the hurricane is what brought us together! During our relief effort, we had the opportunity to work along side one another, and we hit it off the minute the teasing began. As we grew closer to one another, between the playful banter and deep conversations about life and ministry, we both realized we had something special. It seamed like every conversation revealed more differences between us, and somehow that didn’t drive us apart but made us grow closer together. Soon, our wavering feelings turned into a deep love. We began to realize how much we complimented and strengthened one another. It didn’t take long to know it was time to take that next gigantic step of engagement! When you know, you know! After much planning and deception, the game was a foot, and she said yes! Now, we’ve been frantically preparing for our wedding! It is just a few months away.
