Located in the heart of our Museum District it’s a great location to walk around, near the zoo and restaurants.
Great running trails with an amazing view of our skyline.
Our own little version of the Bean.
$$ Delicious Tex Mex food we highly recommend.
$$ If you’re craving Italian this is the spot for you and their wine bar is attached and next door (Camarata)!
$ Craving a burger or diner like experience this is a good place to get your fix.
$$ Great spot for breakfast or lunch, very casual, super cute, great food!
$$ If you’re curious where Trey and I went on our first date well, you’re in luck it’s a great spot for pizza and vino near a walking part of town.
If you enjoy seafood or want a taste of New Orleans in Houston this spot is for you. We highly recommend the chargrilled oysters along with an oyster shooter. This is one of our favorite restaurants in NOLA and we were so excited when they opened a location close to us.
This is our favorite bar in Houston…it’s very laid back and the cocktail menu is never ending. They don’t do beers or shots but, the atmosphere is unique and it’s walking distance to a lot.
If Anvil isn’t your thing and you’re looking for something IG worthy and eclectic this bar is for you. The La Croix cocktails are a personal favorite of the bride.
Interested in riding a Ferris wheel in the middle of a city? Try Truck Yard! It’s located next to some good places to eat like Rodeo Goat (burgers), Seaside Poke (poke bowls we LOVE), Indianola (fancy, swanky dinner spot). It’s very casual with a lot of outdoor seating.
Interested in a brewery? 8th Wonder is a Houston staple for beer and next door to is their distillery. It’s also down the street from Truck Yard so, a lot in one location.
If you’re a fan of BBQ and not sure where to start this is one of our absolute favorite places. It may be from College Station but, it competes with Franklin’s in Austin. It can get crazy busy with lines and once they run out of food they are out so, we suggest getting there right before they open and waiting. It’s worth it.
Craving something sweet. Ever been curious about Voo Doo? Well, Houston has a location and this location is around so much!
This is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The menu is a wonderful assortment. They are also next door to their wine and cheese shop with outdoor seating.
This is a personal favorite of the Groom. If you’re a fan of hot dogs, specifically wild game hot dogs and beer this is your dream com true. It’s mainly an outdoor venue with a wide variety of beer on tap. You can order a chef’s special or order how you like. It’s also in our neighborhood. Enjoy! If you go here please tell Trey.
