A mutual friend with a keen eye for match making, Miss Caroline Teseniar began working her magic on January 11th, 2014. Our very 1st date, a blind date at that. Having only spoken to each other only a few times via text message, we agreed to double date with Caroline and her date. We began the night off over a fancy dinner and shared stories, personal interest, and found out what all we shared in common. As the night preceded we were able to share our competitive sides as we took our talents to the bowling alley. Trey quickly found out about Erica's horrible athletic abilities as her bowling ball practically living in the gutter. However, it led to many smiles, laughs, and jokes about her "granny bowling technique." We both remember that we were extremely nervous but refused to show it. Never lacking in conversation, both wanting to leave our impressions on one another.

Trey had been continuously asking, for weeks, for us to take a trip to TN, so I planned us a trip for our 5 year dating Anniversary. He had never been to Cade's Cove, so I get all prettied up, hair curled, make up on to a tee, etc and off we went. He was acting so nervous, continuously rubbing his hands on his thighs, asking to stop every 5 seconds to take a picture, just wasn't acting himself. I said what is your problem, why are you so antsy? Of course he denies everything. So obviously I had suspicion he was up to something. Yes, I really thought he was going to propose this day. IT NEVER HAPPENED! I told myself you are thinking about it too much it isn't going to happen anytime soon. We planned to go to Anakeesta the next day (04-29-2019), a new attraction in Gatlinburg, he showed no signs of being nervous or anything. We were taking a picture while sitting on a rock, he says i'm going to take a picture from my smartwatch on my phone, of course blonde me fell for it (he was videoing), I got up to go to the next spot I wanted to take a picture at and he hollers "Erica", so I turn around to find him down one knee! I become all giddy inside and said YES!!! This day was the actual dating Anniversary day!
