Till Death Do Us Party

Trey and Emma first met at UCF in October of 2020. Jojo, Emma’s classmate and one of Trey’s best friends (and now a groomsman), brought them together. Jojo was directing a project that semester and brought Trey in as his talent. Due to the university’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time, only the talent and the floor director were allowed on the studio floor at once. By random chance, Emma was the floor director that day. The two spent almost every moment between takes laughing and joking with each other. The entire class was dressed up for Halloween that day, and UCF had a rule that required the crew to wear masks and face shields when talent was unmasked. So when they met, Emma was in a full astronaut costume with a mask and face shield on. The chemistry was great, and the situation was just so silly that it made for an unforgettable day. Because this all happened during the global pandemic shutdown and well before the vaccine, they had super limited options for dates. Especially since Trey lived with his family and Emma lived in her sorority house. They got creative and spent time streaming movies and playing games online, hanging out on campus, checking out record shops and thrift stores, eating drive-thru meals together in the car, and relaxing at the beach, where they said “I love you” for the first time. The coming years together were so very full of love. They spent their time traveling, frequenting theme parks, going to concerts, camping at festivals, and finishing school of course. In October of 2024, the couple welcomed the sweetest Chihuahua puppy named Eve (Eevee). She just turned one and is absolutely hilarious. During a trip to NYC in February of 2025, on what Emma claims was the coldest day ever, Trey proposed at sunset on the waterfront of the East River at Pier 35 overlooking the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. Now, this Halloween, Trey and Emma are getting married shortly after their 5th anniversary. They are both so excited to have all of their loved ones together to celebrate their wedding.
