Friends and family, We are eloping on October 28, 2021 at City Hall in San Francisco. We are very excited (& we think Moose is too). We are hoping to celebrate with each and every one of you in the future, but for now, we wanted to share this website where we will share a little about how we met, our story, a link to our honeyfund, and most importantly, photos! Trey had recently moved to Sacramento and Deven was finishing up his junior year at CSU-Sacramento. While scrolling through Grindr one afternoon (if you don't know what this is, don't ask), Trey saw a cute hipster looking guy who he reached out to. They messaged a little bit... until Deven blocked Trey on the app. A few weeks later they messaged again, set up a date at R15 and Shady Lady on R St in Sacramento... things were going well until Deven got an emergency call mid date. That night, Trey went home to his roommate and said he was done trying with this guy, first blocked and then a convenient "emergency" mid date. Deven felt bad and sealed the deal on their second date by planning a great trip. They spent an afternoon sipping wine and watching whales under the Golden Gate Bridge. Deven proposed to Trey at Baker Beach (under the Golden Gate Bridge) on March 27, 2021, almost four years after they had met. Since meeting, they've made countless memories with countless travels, tried out lots of new recipes, shared many laughs over dinner with friends, supported each other through grad school, and built a home centered around their three-year old Cocker Spaniel, Moose.
