Question

What are you two going to do about COVID-19?!

Answer

Great question! The short answer is that we don't know for certain what the day will look like, but we are cautiously optimistic. The longer, more complicated answer is that while the current vaccine rollout gives us high hopes that the most vulnerable members of our family and community will have had the chance to receive both doses of the preventive vaccines, we acknowledge that the pandemic is ever-evolving. Ideally, we all will have had the opportunity to be vaccinated and it will be safe(r) to gather! We will be closely monitoring the status of the pandemic and will post any and all changes to the wedding day directly to this website. We appreciate your patience and support during this time.

Question

Should I bring and/or wear a mask?

Answer

Another great question, for which we don't yet have a confident answer. On the one hand, we remain cautiously optimistic that the vaccine rollout has and will continue to make things safer for individuals. On the other hand, we value the safety and wellbeing of all of our guests and understand that this is a real Catch-22. We are closely monitoring the state of the COVID-19 pandemic nationwide and will continue to do so until the wedding day arrives. For now, we encourage you to plan on at least bringing a mask and possibly wearing it while inside the Sartain home.

Question

Alright, alright. Enough pandemic talk. Can we bring our children?

Answer

We adore your little ones. But we kindly ask that you consider leaving them at home, as we simply do not have the capacity or space to provide care for all of them. We hope you'll still be able to join us and enjoy a night off!

Question

Can I park at the venue?

Answer

We will be providing valet services at the venue, which also happens to be Callie's childhood home. Please plan to drive (or Uber!) and we'll take care of the rest.

Question

What if I get really excited and, you know, have too much to drink?

Answer

Whether it's via Uber, Lyft, or one of the other taxi services in Gainesville, we'll make sure you get back to where you're staying safely!

Question

Speaking of...since you're getting married at home, can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

It's true: the Sartain home has hosted a number of excellent parties, and we fully expect our wedding to outrank them all. However, for reasons of safety and liability, we kindly ask that you refrain from BYOB-ing. We're transforming the house into a real-life wedding venue for the day and as such will provide all the libations you need.

Question

If I have questions about the wedding on the day of, should I text and call Callie and Trey directly?

Answer

We are going phones-free for the weekend, so please don't! Any and all questions can be directed to Carey Sartain (770-530-7324), Susanna Sartain (770-530-7324), or Cameron Harris (336-653-3354).
