Avery and Trey’s story actually starts way earlier than either of them realized. They both went to Reinhardt Elementary School and later Utley Middle School, always in the same hallways, but never really close. Years later, life brought them back together in the summer of 2021 at East Texas A&M University. Avery was tabling for her sorority when Trey walked in for freshman orientation, What started as a simple reintroduction, quickly turned into a great friendship! They ended up working together as orientation leaders the summer of 2023, where they spent many days together. Somewhere along the way, that friendship turned into something more, and they started dating that summer. Looking back, it’s kind of crazy to think they had been crossing paths for years without even knowing what was ahead, but it all came together exactly when it was supposed to. They could not be more thrilled to build a life together!
