We’re getting married!!

This story is a controversial one. Trey will tell you we met at a cross country party after our first cross country meet. We talked the entire night and had a great time. On the following Monday, we attended the first day of sophmore year and realized we had almost every class together. Our friendship grew from there. While all of this is true, it is not how we met. Alyssa will tell you we met at our first cross country meet while walking the course before the race. We had a silly conversation about what will be on our minds at specific parts of the race. We then attended the cross country party and talked the entire night.

After almost four years of dating, Trey and Alyssa took a trip to New York to sight see. We saw the statue of liberty, the empire state building, times square, and a whole host of other locations. Brooklyn remained Alyssa’s favorite city in New York, which was a nice coincidence because Trey had something planned for quite some time. We decided to have one night where we dressed up, took cute pictures, and had a nice dinner. On that night, we went to Dumbo Brooklyn and took pictures with the Manhatten skyline in the background. While taking pictures, Alyssa began to worry about Trey’s health because she could feel his heart beating out of his chest. There was a stranger taking our pictures and without Alyssa knowing, Trey flashed her the ring box. She immediately switched over to video and Trey proceeded to get down on one knee and asked Alyssa to marry him. She was so excited, surprised but not, and happier than ever. Of course without hesitation, SHE SAID YES!
