Unfortunately, in order to keep our wedding intimate and focused on those we have close personal relationships with, we won’t be able to accommodate a plus one at this time. Our formal invitations will be addressed to those included on our guest list. If you have any questions or want to double-check details, please feel free to reach out to me or Jacob. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.
Jacob and I decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration, except for the children who are part of our wedding party. To help us create the atmosphere we envision, children under high school age will not be included. Families of those involved in the wedding party have already been contacted and arrangements have been made. We kindly ask that childcare be arranged for the day so we can all relax and focus on celebrating together!
Our dress code is semi-formal. We encourage guests to dress nicely while still being comfortable. For men, this typically means a button-down shirt, slacks, and a tie. A suit jacket or blazer is welcome but not required. For women, this could include a cocktail dress or a nice jumpsuit paired with heels or dressy flats. Think of it as somewhere between Sunday best and black-tie formal. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing primarily white, ivory, or cream so those colors remain reserved for the bride. We also ask that guests avoid bright red, neon colors, and the bridal party colors. Other than that, please feel free to wear any colors you’d like within the semi-formal dress code.
Both our ceremony and reception will take place at The Ridge at Cache Valley in Logan, Utah. The venue is located in downtown Logan at the site of the former Crumb Brothers Restaurant. There is plenty of parking available onsite, and guests will not need to walk on gravel or grass. The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, but if the weather cooperates, we plan to open the patio so everyone can enjoy the late summer air.
