Why is there a dog on your save the date?

Answer

Fun Fact: 1. That's our dog Lima Bean (our 2nd Estrela Mt. Dog)! Limes, as we lovingly call her, helped Trevor propose by running around with the ring box in her mouth so Kate could catch her! 2. Most of our life is surrounding our dogs and finding random strays on the streets of Texas. It's a thing.

So you're having two weddings?

Answer

Sorta, It was important to Kate's family that she be married in the church she grew up in, but since it's about two hours from our reception venue, we figured we would keep the church ceremony for family the day prior to the reception so not everyone is stuck driving hours in beach traffic! Fun Fact: Kate was baptized, had her first communion, was confirmed, and will be married in the same church!

We are requesting no gifts for our wedding, so please just bring yourselves and your well wishes!

We have eliminated some plus ones to try our best to limit our guest list due to covid. So sorry for the inconvenience or if we missed anyone!

Where did you get your unique stationary?

Answer

Our invites and save the dates were made by the bride's sister and maid of honor Diana. Diana is incredibly talented and therefore busy but feel free to email her with your design needs: dianafunkdesign@gmail.com.

What about COVID?

Answer

We want everyone to be safe and healthy at our wedding, therefore please consider social distancing 7 days prior to the wedding, wearing face masks in public settings, and/ or getting COVID tested the day before. At home testing kits are available at CVS and Rite Aid. All guests attending our church ceremony will be required to wear a face mask during the ceremony. If you are no longer able to attend our wedding please let us know as soon as possible! We will miss you, but would rather you be healthy!

What should I wear?

Answer

Women: cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, little black dresses, dressed up maxi dresses Men: suits, dress pants, dress shirts, and a sport jacket, ties are not required!
