This is our favorite brewery in Colorado. We recommend any of the hazy IPAs. Plenty of other great beer options as well. Food truck varies daily. Be sure to ask for Spencer or Torre and tell them we sent you!
This is our favorite sports bar in the area. Great food/drink selection. It is on Main Street in Longmont. Tara recommends the chicken tortilla soup. Trevor recommends the fajitas. Be sure to sit in the "red zone," which is the sports side.
Cute beer garden in Boulder. A good variety of beers on tap and rotating food trucks. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
A great place that we take people when they are first visiting Colorado. It is a huge multilevel food hall with great views of the Flatiron Mountains on the rooftop deck.
Cool place to grab a bite. Cash only. Multiple locations with another one located in Longmont on Main Street.
This is our favorite whiskey/bourbon distillery in the area. Stop in for a cocktail. It is also conveniently located right by our wedding venue.
The Rockies are one of the worst teams in baseball, which makes the tickets pretty cheap lol! Coors field has a great atmosphere. Seattle Mariners are in town the weekend of our wedding. If you have time, grab a beer and a hot dog in the Mile High City!
It is a short drive from Boulder to Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. We have seen a variety of wild life here including elk, mule deer, moose, black bears, bob cats, mountain lions, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, etc. Great hiking throughout the park. You do not want to sleep on this!
Trail heads leading directly out of Boulder. Go experience the flatirons that overlook the city. One of our favorite hikes to take people from out of state is Green Mountain West Ridge trail. It's a 4-mile loop. Not very strenuous until the last climb. Great views of downtown Boulder.
This is the heart of Boulder. Various bars/restaurants/shops in an outdoor mall setting. It is a block away from the St. Julian hotel and spa where we have one of our hotel blocks for the wedding.
When we lived in Denver, this was a "starting spot" for any nights we went out. Get an iconic ice shot and throw it at the bell. The queso and tacos are our favorites.
Another place we like taking people that are visiting from out of state for its great views and vibes. It has a large outdoor seating area right in the flatirons. Great photo-op.
