A little history.... We met on Facebook (Yes! Good ole Facebook) in 2010 and instantly became best friends. Trevor and i both had relationships over the course of our friendship but those never seemed to pan out the way we expected them to (i guess maybe that was God intervening lol). In 2017, after failed relationships and 7 years of friendship, we were both single at the same time-go figure haha. We spent alot of time hanging out (as bff) not realizing that soon our lives would change forever. In October 2017, our mutual friend (my best friend) suggested that since we are already hanging out we might as well date each other. We made fun of her for even thinking that could be possible. We laughed about it for a while too, asking ourselves “What If?”. That question would later become the highlight of our conversations for a few months. Then one day we both realized we were developing strong feelings towards each other. We later decided, after much deliberations (haha), maybe we could try and see what comes from it. We was terrified that if it didn’t work our friendship would be ruined. So let’s get straight to the point.... Our first official date was January 2018. We fell in love. We talked about a future together. We knew what we both wanted and all of that we found in each other. The Proposal..... Trevor proposed Christmas day 2019 right in our living room in front of my daughter, while i was 6 months pregnant with our son. It was intimate, and it was special. We couldn’t imagine spending our lives without each other. And now our journey to forever begins.
