Savannah and Trevor met through mutual friends during their sophomore year at George Mason University. They had a close friendship all throughout their college years - favorite hangouts including Half Off Nights at IHOP, Trevor accompanying Savannah to multiple Sorority functions, and playing with puppies at Petland to de-stress from school. After graduation, they kept in touch and by fall 2016 they were officially an item. Savannah and Trevor were in a long distance relationship for the first two years of their relationship while Trevor completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Old Dominion University. The long car rides back and forth every weekend were worth it because now they share their very first apartment together in Fort Belvoir, Virginia!

On December 8, 2019, Trevor and Savannah set out for an early morning hike at Mason Neck State Park. Savannah started getting suspicious because on the drive over, Trevor played a playlist of all of her favorite love songs (Yes... including Lover by Taylor Swift). She also noticed how nervous Trevor was acting the whole walk to the outlook overlooking the bay. As they were looking out and enjoying the view, Trevor got on one knee and proposed! Clearly, she said YES!
